Dokha tobacco has been used in the middle east for hundreds of years and is popular in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain and Jordan. Originating in Iran in the 15th Century Dokha tobacco is typically finely shredded and mixed with dried herbs. Users will then smoke the blended tobacco mix using a pipe called a midwakh or medwakh. 

Dokha is a relatively powerful tobacco with a slight spiciness and deep earthy tones. The Dokha we use to produce our e-liquid is cultivated in the middle east where it is then dried in the desert, chopped and ground, and placed in airtight containers to preserve the freshness and flavour. 

Dokha tobacco has seen a surge in popularity in the last two decades due largely to increased usage among young males aged between 20-39 in middle-eastern countries. In the UK, many tobacco shops are now selling Dokha along with medwakh accessories.
